Moyne/Templetouhy started extremely well leading 1-03 to 0-2 after 10mins. Having played against the wind in the first half Ballinahinch trailed 1-10 to 0-04 at half-time. A better second half performance from the Ballinahinch team saw them outscore the opponents, however it was not enough to secure victory. Final score 1-15 to 2-18.

Played in soft conditions in Dolla's second field, Ballinahinch started well with Brendan Ryan scoring a goal midway through the half. Ballinahinch were leading 1-7 to 0-5 at half time. The second half was a more dogged affair as ground conditions worsened. Both sides put in big effort, Galtee missed numerous chances to close the gap but with a wider range of scorers in the Ballinahinch team, Galtee could not make in roads into the lead. At the final whistle Ballinahinch led 1-16 to 0-10.
