In the North Semi-final Ballinahinch lost out to Burgess by the narrowest of margins. The final score 2-01 to 1-03. Ballinahinch started the stronger putting 2 points on the board in the opening 10 mins. Then 1-1  put Burgess in front but Ballinahinch responded well with a goal and a point to finish the half leading 1-3 to 1-1. The second half was a tight affair with a goal midway through the half proving crucial as it was to be the only score in the second half by either team.

Round 5: Ballinahinch defeated (3-10) to Shannon Rover Gaels (3-3)

Round 4: Ballinahinch defeated Templederry 3-12 to 1-1

Round 3- Ballinahinch lost to Lorrha/Dorrha 1-3 to 3-1 in Shallee. In a tight first half, Lorrha scored a late penalty to lead at half-time 1-1 to 0-1. With pressure in the second half coming from Ballinahinch, Lorrha scored two more goals on the break. A goal from Ballinahinch in the end put a better reflection on the scoreline.

2^nd Round

Well done to our U12 football team who gave a great performance on Saturday against Burgess in very wet conditions in Kilcoleman. Burgess opened the scoring to lead 1-1 to no score. Ballinahinch replied with a goal and a point to leave the score level at half time. Ballinahinch performed very well in the second half leaving the final score Ballinahinch 2-4 Burgess 1-3

1st Round

Ballinahinch played Moneygall in the first round of the North football championship in Shallee on Friday 21^st March. The were in control for most of the game, however late goals from Moneygall made for an anxious finish. Ballinahinch won on 2-6 to 3-0.
