U-14 A Hurling Semi Finals:
Holders Nenagh Eire Og face Roscrea in the North Tipperary U-14 A Hurling semi finals which will be played this Wednesday evening. The game is planned for Gardiner Park, Borrisokane with the throw in at 7.00pm. The second semi final will also be played this Wednesday evening as Kilruane MacDonaghs play host to Toomevara at Tomas MacDonagh Park, Cloughjordan. The game gets under way at 6.30pm.
Nenagh Eire Og and Roscrea met twice in the pool stages resulting in two wins for Nenagh Eire Og. The second meeting resulted in a more clearcut win. Both Kilruane and Toomevara had a victory each the first a two point win for Toome but Kilruane had a more thorough victory at Cloughjordan.
Nenagh and Kilruane should emerge winners.

U-14 B Hurling Round 11:
Six teams remain in the chase of the four semi-final places available as the eleventh and final round of the North U-14 B Hurling championship gets underway this Wednesday evening. Borris-Ileigh, Newport/Ballinahinch are safely through to the semi finals but Borrisokane, Shannon Rovers Gaels, Ballina and Templederry stand equal on eleven points with two of them to qualify to the last four.
The quartet has a difficult task. Borrisokane are at home to Kildangan, Shannon Rovers Gaels travel to Borrisoleigh to take on the home side while Ballina have home advantage when they host neighbours, Newport/Ballinahinch and Templederry are at home to Portroe.
Yes there is a lot to play for. A brief glance of the top of the league table shows: Borris-Ileigh 18; Newport/ Ballinahinch 14; Ballina 11, Borrisokane 11, Shannon Rovers Gaels 11; Templederry 11; Portroe 8

U-12 Premier Go Games Hurling
At a recent C.C.C. meeting a few guide lines were drawn up for the remainder of the U-12 premier games. 1 11 aside 2 All subs to be brought on at half time. 3 Each half will be 20 Min's 4 Length of field is from the 21yard line to the 21yard line. (90 X 60) 5 Field should be narrowed in. (60 Yards wide). 6 No Solo Run. 7 A 65 to be taken from the normal 65 line. 8 There is a square ball in hurling. 9 Sub slips to be used with number and name of child coming on. Our North end games will all be played on the same day in same venue July 30.
Some U-12 Results
Group 1 Quarter Finals: Toomevara overcome Ballina and Kildangan play Roscrea this Tuesday July 19th.
Semi Finals- Both Nenagh Eire Og and Kilruane MacDonaghs are through to the semi finals joining Toomevara and the winners of the Kildangan v Roscrea clash.
Group 2 Quarter finals: Newport defeated Portroe and Moneygall overcome Silvermines and Borris-Ileigh defeated Templederry.
Borrisokane are through to the semi final to join the three quarter final winners. The draw for the semi finals will be made.
Group 3 Quarter Finals: Roscrea (3) emerged winners over Borris-Ileigh. The second quarter final, Lorrha v Ballinahinch, to be played this week. Both Shannon Rovers and Burgess stand by in the semi finals.
Group 4 Quarter Finals: Kilruane MacDonaghs and Nenagh Eire Og emerged winners over Ballina and Kildangan respectively and the two teams join Roscrea and Toomevara in the semi finals.
P.S. All semi finals to be played this weekend, complete in good time for the Four Finals which will be played in Lorrha next Saturday July 30.
