 Junior Hurling
There were 21 teams affiliated in the junior championship and the chairman pointed out that Ballinahinch and Silvermines had affiliated three junior teams, two being from Silvermines. Ballinahinch and Silvermines, he said, had affiliated no senior teams, which they were bound to do under the Parish Rule.

Mr. D. Carey (Shallee) said that Ballinahinch could not field a senior team. If they did it would be so weak it would be defeated pointless every game. He asked the board to accept their junior team affiliation.

The Silvermines delegate also said they could not affiliate a senior team as they had not got the material. The two junior teams would not amalgamation.a
