PRO NOTES 9th February 2015

U21: The North ‘A’ football championship got under way last weekend in Lacken Park and Newport Gaels came out winners in an entertaining game against Kildangan. It finished 4-07 to 4-04. Well done to all involved, they play Borrisokane in the next round.

 

Lotto: There was no winner of last weeks (5th Feb) lotto, the numbers drawn were 7, 13, 17, 25. The jackpot now stands at €8,850. This week’s draw takes place in Ryan’s Bar, Killoscully  on Thursday night Feb 12th.

 

Membership: Membership for 2015 can now be paid to club Registrar or Treasurer. Membership rates remain the same for 2015 at €40 for adult & €20 for students. All players are requested to have their membership paid by Tuesday March 17th. We also invite new members to join the club for 2015 and particularly for our player base it is vital to have membership up to date. Also please note as a member of the GAA club you can make use of the facilities in the Handball Alley in Ballinahinch. We will be having our annual draw for a prize of €100 in early April for those who pay their club membership by March 31st.

 

Tipp Co. Board draw: We ask that all those with monies outstanding for the 2014/15 Co. Board Draw can the please settle their payments with there respective draw promoters ASAP. For the 2015/16 draw it has been decided that intending members must have at least €50 paid by June 30th to ensure there continued  inclusion in the monthly draws after that date.

 

Progressive 45 Drive: Continues every Thursday night in Ballinahinch Community Centre under the watchful eyes of Dermot & John Joe Bourke.

 

Best Wishes: The club would like to extend it’s best wishes & a speedy recovery to one of our club Presidents Mick Hourigan who is currently recovering in hospital after a recent illness.

 

Sympathies: The club would like to extend it’s deepest sympathies to the Ryan (Bawn) family, Gurtshane, to the Healy Family, Shallee & also to the Kennedy Family, Toor who have all suffered recent bereavements in their respective families. Go raibh trocaire ar a anam
