U-12 Football: Congratulations to our U-12's who beat Portroe in the semi-final last Friday night to reach the final. This was a very close encounter throughout & our lads showed great determination & team spirit. We play Lorrha in the final this coming weekend. Best of luck to everyone involved. Athletics: Well done to all our local athletes who participated in the Munster Junior & U-23 & juvenile Multi-Events in Castleisland last weekend. Congratulations to Eimer & Patrick Lynch. Eimer got silver & Patrick got silver in 200m & silver in 100m sprints. Congratulations also to Emma Hennessy. Emma won gold in her U-15 Pentathlon. Ballinahinch/Killoscully Community Games: Take place this coming Sunday evening (13th) in the GAA pitch in Shallee from 5 pm. Anybody not yet registered can register on the day. Please come earlier if not yet registered. Lotto: There was no winner of the draw on 30th April, the numbers drawn were 17, 18, 19, 28. The draw on Bank Holiday Monday also produced no winner, numbers drawn were 5, 9, 12, 19. Next weeks jackpot is €2,850. Well Done: Well done to Michael Fahy who was on the Nenagh Vocational School junior hurling team that won the Munster 'B' final recently. Fundraiser: Martin Ryan & Joe Fitzgerald will complete a 112km charity cycle around the Burren & the West Clare area in aid of Milford Hospice on June 23rd. On 18th May there is also a charity night in aid of Milford Hospice that will include food, live music, auction for signed Munster Rugby Jersey and lots of spot- prizes on the night.
