All-Ireland Semi-Final: Best of luck from all in the club to Shane McGrath and the rest of the Tipperary team in the All-Ireland semi-final against Dublin next Sunday. Anyone travelling to the game ensure that all tickets are paid for in advance of collection from the club.

Trip To Bray & Croke Park: Juvenile Club intend to take U-8's to U-12's to play Bray Emmett's on Sunday next, after which we intend to take all players & supporters to cheer on their County in the All-Ireland semi final in Croke park. We hope that this will be an enjoyable day for everyone involved. Best of luck to everyone.

Athletics: Well done to Tom Hennessy on his performance in the All-Ireland multi events recently. Tom won his high jump with a height of 1.75m & also his 1500m. Tom was fourth overall. This was a great achievement in what is a very difficult event. An athlete must be a top class all rounder to participate in such events & Tom has proven once again that he is up there with the best in the country. Well done Tom.

All-Ireland Camogie: Congratulations & well done to Lee-Ann Griffin on her recent All Ireland camogie success with the Tipperary U-16 County team who beat old rivals, Kilkenny, by a single point in the All-Ireland final recently. Well done to all the local ladies involved in this great win also.

Minor Hurling: Newport Gaels defeated Templederry last week on a score of 2-15 to 2-09. The play the final group game against Borrisokane, needing a win to ensure qualifying for the semi-final stage.

Intermediate: Having won the North intermediate football title for the first time in 2010, we have drawn Ballina in the first round of the championship this year. No fixtures scheduled as yet. We play Silvermines in the North hurling semi-final scheduled for the weekend of the 21st August.

Tipp Draw Payment: The fourth Tipp draw will take place next week can all promoters please contact all their members this week. The club now needs to collect at least half of this years membership i.e. EUR50 plus any arrears still outstanding from last year.

Lotto: There was no winner of last weeks lotto (1st Aug), the numbers drawn were 15, 20, 21 and 29. The next lotto jackpot is for EUR5,100.
