Junior: The junior ’B’ hurlers went down against Newport last Friday in Shallee. Having lead at half time 2-05 to 1-7. Newport controlled the second half running out winners 3-16 to 3-07. Lorrha are our final opponent’s in the group.

 

Minor: Newport Gaels had a good win to start the North football championship last week against Ballina. They play Inane Rovers next.

 

U16: Best of luck to Newport Gaels who are in the North ‘A’ football final against Nenagh Eire Og. They defeated Kildangan in the semi-final last week. Please support the team as they look to win the title. Check fixtures for details.

 

Sympathies: The club wishes to extend its sympathies to the family and friends of Jimmy Clifford, Glenculloo, who passed away suddenly last week. May he rest in peace.

 

Cycle: The GAA club in association with Keeper Cycling Club are hosting a 65km and 20km  cycle on Sunday 18th May at 11am. Entry is €20 per person. Pre-register by text to 087-2021158 or register on the day in Ballinahinch GAA club (Shallee) at 10am.
