U21: Congratulations to all involved with Ballinahinch Gaels in their County final victory. They defeated Upperchurch/Drombane last Saturday in Kilcommon by 1-06 to 0-07. See match report for details. It is a great achievement for this group of players to win county honours and big celebrations went on late into Saturday night.

Intermediate: Having defeated Galtee Rovers in the first round of the championship, this week Rockwell Rovers are the opposition. Please support the team as they look for a second victory, the game is fixed for Cappawhite at 7pm on Saturday 11th May.

Junior: In the second round of the Junior 'B' league last Monday Toomevara won on a scoreline of 3-21 to 2-11. We are scheduled to play Ballina next Sunday (12th May) in Shallee looking for our first win in the group.

Minor: Newport Gaels will contest the North 'A' football final against Ballina on Thursday 16th May in Portroe. Please support the team as they look to win the title.

U-16 A football: Newport Gaels and Kilruane will contest the U-16 A football final on this Thursday 9th in Dolla at 7.00. This promises to be a great final with both teams playing some excellent football in the qualifying rounds.

U12: The Group 3 final games were down for decision recently. Ballinahinch defeated Templederry in the quarterfinal, however they lost out to Burgess in the semi-final. Well done to all the players who performed very well in all the games in this group. Also thanks to the mentors and everyone else involved with this team.

National League: Hard luck to Shane McGrath and the Tipperary team in their loss to Kilkenny in the league final last Sunday. A big local support was there to cheer them on, hopefully they will pick up silverware later in the year.

Lotto: There was no winner of last weeks (29th April) lotto of €4,200. The numbers drawn were 3, 7, 11, 16. Thanks to all for their continued support.

Tipperary Draw: The first draw will take place on May 17th.  Can all promoters please contact their present members & inform T.J. McLoughlin of all those who will be continuing to participate in this draw for the coming year. This must be done by this weekend. The club would like to thank all their promoters & their members & would encourage all promoters to try & add new members for the coming year. The Tipperary draw is one of the main sources of revenue for the club each year & the club would like to thank everyone who supports this draw.
