U-12 Hurling: Our U-12's put in a strong & determined performance against a well balanced Burges team, on Thursday last in Shallee. Although we were beaten by 2-01 to 5-08, this game has shown how much our players have developed in the last couple of years. We have made huge strides forward & are maturing into a lovely little team. We had fantastic performances throughout the field & our determination & passion was second to none. This was our final match in the group stage & we hope to get another chance in the later stages of these games. Well done to everyone involved & to the management team & helpers also.

Tipp Draw: The club would sincerely like to thank John Carey for all his work and efforts over the past 20years in co-ordinating the Tipperary County draw. John has always been an invaluable asset to the club for many years in many different roles. The draw is a great way of raising money for any club for just EUR2 a week, with the club getting 50% of the proceeds. For a small club we have had a lot of success in the past with cars and cash prizes being won. The next Tipp draw will take place on July 15th. If anyone wishes to join for this year please contact TJ McLoughlin on 0863429789 or anyone of the promoters in the parish. As this is the third draw of this year we would ask anyone who still owes money to please pay your promoter ASAP. Camp4Champs: This takes place again this year in Shallee (Ballinahinch GAA ground) from 10am to 2pm, on the 18th to 22nd July. Contact 0876104212 to book. Cost is EUR50 for the week or EUR10 per day. Munster Final: Best of luck, from all in the club, to Shane McGrath and the Tipperary team who play Waterford this Sunday in Cork in the Munster Final. Anyone collecting tickets during the week please pay Dermot Bourke when collecting. The club does not get credit for these tickets so we would ask that you pay when collecting them. Thank you. |
