U-12 Hurling: Our U-12's put in a strong & determined performance against a well balanced Burges team, on Thursday last in Shallee. Although we were beaten by 2-01 to 5-08, this game has shown how much our players have developed in the last couple of years. We have made huge strides forward & are maturing into a lovely little team. We had fantastic performances throughout the field & our determination & passion was second to none. This was our final match in the group stage & we hope to get another chance in the later stages of these games. Well done to everyone involved & to the management team & helpers also.
County B Track & Field: The County B athletics T&F events were held in Templemore last Sunday. On a beautiful sunny day, there were numerous fantastic performances from our local athletes. Well done to everyone who participated & to all the numerous athletes who gave great performances & made it to the podium. List of medal winners may be found in Newport Athletic section. Also, pictures of medal winners can be viewed on the Tipperary Athletics website.
Fr. Gallagher Cup: The Fr. Gallagher Day will take place in a few weeks time. Entry forms have been distributed. Please return these forms by the coming weekend so that teams can be sorted. If you have not received a form yet, please contact the club officials a.s.a.p. so that this can be arranged.
Junior: Hard luck to the junior hurlers who were defeated in the North 'C' League semi-final, by Knockshegowna, last Sunday evening on a score of 2-11 to 1-10. Leading well at half-time, we failed to maintain the performance in the secondhalf and Knockshe' won out by 4points in the end. The draw for the 'C' championship will take place soon, and training continues on Tuesday/Thursday evenings.

Minor: Our minor hurlers were defeated in their first outing of the year by Moneygall/Clonakenny on a scoreline of 2-16 to 1-10. They play Silvermines this Thursday night in the second round.

Lotto: There was no winner of last weeks (27th June) draw for the jackpot of EUR4,500. The numbers drawn were 17, 20, 21, 30. Details of lucky dip and other winners available on the club website.

Tipp Draw: The club would sincerely like to thank John Carey for all his work and efforts over the past 20years in co-ordinating the Tipperary County draw. John has always been an invaluable asset to the club for many years in many different roles. The draw is a great way of raising money for any club for just EUR2 a week, with the club getting 50% of the proceeds. For a small club we have had a lot of success in the past with cars and cash prizes being won. The next Tipp draw will take place on July 15th. If anyone wishes to join for this year please contact TJ McLoughlin on 0863429789 or anyone of the promoters in the parish. As this is the third draw of this year we would ask anyone who still owes money to please pay your promoter ASAP.

Camp4Champs: This takes place again this year in Shallee (Ballinahinch GAA ground) from 10am to 2pm, on the 18th to 22nd July. Contact 0876104212 to book. Cost is EUR50 for the week or EUR10 per day.

Munster Final: Best of luck, from all in the club, to Shane McGrath and the Tipperary team who play Waterford this Sunday in Cork in the Munster Final. Anyone collecting tickets during the week please pay Dermot Bourke when collecting. The club does not get credit for these tickets so we would ask that you pay when collecting them. Thank you.
