nament, in memory of our late parish priest, Fr. Francis Gallagher (R.I.P), took place on Saturday last in Shallee. This was our third annual event & once again it was a great success. Brian Keane accepted the memorial cup, on behalf of his winning team, from Fr. Bobby Fletcher & Shane McGrath. The runner-up team on the day was captained by Cathail Ryan.

We were very lucky with the weather on the day & were able to have a BBQ after all the games were finished, thanks to Suzannah Mullaney,Therese Ryan, Niamh Harrington & Pam Quinn. Thanks to Cormac McGrath who organised the event, & to everyone who helped with the teams on the day & indeed to everyone who helped to make this day a great success once again. Well done to all the players who took part on the day. Hopefully this event will continue for many more years to come.
