PRO notes 29th Sept 2014

posted 29 Sept 2014, 13:11 by Sluder Bullins

North Final: The Intermediate hurler’s play the North hurling final this weekend against Newport. Having came close to reaching the final over the past few years, the hard fought victory over Shannon Rovers put them into this years decider, the first time a team from the club has reached the final since 1977. Best of luck to all the players, backroom members and everyone involved with the team. The match is provisionally fixed for Dolla on Sunday 5th at 2.30pm. Please support the team as they look to bring the cup to the parish for the first time.

All-Ireland: Hard luck to Shane McGrath and all the Tipperary team. After a huge effort throughout the year, Kilkenny proved stronger on the day.

Sympathies: The club wishes to extend its sympathies to the family and friends of Noel Moynihan, who past away last week. May he rest in peace.
