‘All Star Mr&Mrs’: Last Sunday night the GAA club held a unique fundraiser in the Freigh Inn. Martin Ryan, in his hosting role as “Murty Morrissey”, quizzed 11 couples on how well they actually knew each other. With some very entertaining questions asked and even better responses given, it was a great night for all attending. PJ and Noreen Ryan were the overall winners and thanks must go to all the couples for taking part. Thanks to everyone that was involved in organising the event and to all those who provided spot prizes on the night also.

Juvenile AGM: The juvenile club will hold is AGM shortly, and are asking that as many as possible attend to ensure everything is in place for the underage setup in 2014. Check the club notes and website for confirmation of the date.

Lotto: There was no winner of this weeks (29th Oct) lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 13, 18, 20, 26. Next week’s jackpot is €6,950, tickets are available throughout the parish for €2, with the next draw on Monday night in Ryan’s Bar, Killoscully
