Boxing: The launch of the "Kings of Keeper" Ballinahinch Vs Newport white collar boxing takes place Saturday 2nd February in the Cooper's bar, Birdhill, at 9pm. The boxer's will be announced on the night and tickets for the event will be released on the night also. The boxing night will take place on 16th March in the Ormonde Hotel Nenagh.

Presentation: The Junior 'C' hurlers were presented with their North league and championship medals by Patrick "Bonnar" Maher (of Lorrha & Tipperary fame) last Saturday night in Ballinahinch hall. Thanks to all those who helped organise the night.

Juvenile membership: Affiliation forms are being distributed through the school and managers in the next few weeks. Membership must be paid before March 31.

Handball schools: Hard luck to Joey Kelly, Karl Kelly, Nathan Lenihan and Sean Carolan who represented the school in the county play offs last Saturday. Unfortunately we had no winners on the day with Karl reaching the semi final stage. Well done to Gerry Foley and Ballinahinch Handball club who hosted the event. As usual, the high standard of organisation was evident and all other schools attending expressing the highest praise for the facility and refreshments that was laid on for players and supporters.

Fundraising 45 drive: Juvenile club will host their annual 45 drive fundraising event on Thursday March 28. Tickets will be distributed soon.

Gum shields: Reminder that all players from under 18 down must wear gum shields for football this year. Please ensure all players are ready for this requirement.

Handball : Congratulations to Nathan Lenihan & Stephen Coffey on their great win in the U-10 doubles
40x20 County final against Cashel last Wednesday night.

Community Games (Indoor Soccer) : Best of luck to our local U-13 Indoor soccer team who play the semi-final of the North-Tipp.

Lotto: There was no winner of last week's (21st Jan) lotto jackpot of €2,250. The numbers drawn were 7, 13, 17, 20.
