U-12 Football: Well done to our U-12 football team who beat Templederry by a single point (8-04 : 7-08) last Friday evening, in their first game of the season. This was a great team performance & a great win for this group of boys & girls. Best of luck this coming Friday evening, when we play Borris. at home in Shallee.

U-12 Training: Has started up again on Wed night in Shallee. Training for smaller age groups will start up again in the coming weeks.

Juvenile Fundraiser Cards Night: Thanks to all who helped out in every way towards this fundraiser (ticket sellers/tea & sambo makers/ food supply etc.)

U-14 Camogie: Well done to our Camogie players (Newport/Ballinahinch) who beat Nenagh, in the first round of the feile competition on Sunday night last.

All-Ireland Indoor Athletics: Congratulations to Tom Hennessy, Emma Hennessy & Patrick Lynch who competed so well in the All-Ireland finals last weekend. Tom reached the 400m final & Patrick made the final of his 60m sprint. Well done to both, on such brilliant achievements. Emma was fifth in her High Jump event & won the bronze medal in her Long Jump. Again, these were both brilliant achievements. Patrick, Tom & Emma have shown once again, that they are top class athletes & are among the elite in Ireland. Well done & highest congratulations to all.

Intermediate: We played a home game against Shannon Rovers last Saturday in the second round of the county league. The game finished tied at 1-09 each. This gives us our first point of the league campaign.

Congratulations: Well done to Ger Grace who was part of the University of Limerick team that won the All-Ireland colleges Intermediate hurling final.

Lotto: There was no winner of last week's (19th March) lotto. The numbers drawn were 6, 12, 14, 15. Thanks to everyone for their continued support.
