Intermediate: In the county hurling league last Sunday we lost out to table-toppers Moyne/Templetouhy on a score of 2-18 to 1-15. Next up is the first round of the county championship on Sunday (28th April) in Cappawhite at 2.30pm against Galtee Rovers. Please support the team as they look for a good start to qualify for knockout stages of the county championship. Junior: We played our first game... of the North Junior 'B' league last Friday night. Templederry proved too strong for us, with the final score reading 2-20 to 1-09. Minor: Newport Gaels are due to play Ballina in the 3rd Round of the North football championship this Wednesday (24th April) in Newport. Check fixtures for confirmation. Tipperary Draw: The new draw is to be launched this Thursday 25th. April, in Nenagh. The first draw of the new season will take place on May 17th. Thanks again, to everyone for your continued support of this draw. It is a great help to our club, as half of the proceeds come back to the club. Can all promoters please contact their members as soon as possible to see if their members are interested in continuing in this draw for the coming year. Can each promoter then contact the draw co-ordinator, T.J. McLoughlin, to inform him of numbers prior to the commencement of new draw.
