Minor: Newport Gaels are in action against Borris-ileigh in the North ‘A’ hurling semi-final on Wednesday 3^rd September in Dolla at 6pm. Please support the team as they look to qualify for the North Final.

All-Ireland: Best wishes from all in the club to Shane McGrath and the Tipperary team as they look to win the All-Ireland Senior hurling title this weekend. There will be huge support from the parish cheering Shane and the rest of the players on in Croke Park.

Cycle: Best of luck to Martin Ryan, Joe Fitzgerald, Eoin Kelly, Shane Fitzgerald and Barry Crosse who are cycling from Ballinahinch to Dublin on Sat 6^th September in aid of Milford Hospice. Martin will cycle the full distance with the rest of the team completing approximately 40km each.
