U21: Newport Gaels were crowned North U21 hurling champions last weekend. They defeated Borris-ileigh in a tight encounter on a score-line of 2-11 to 2-10. Well done to all involved with the team and best of luck in the county series. It is the second time that Ballinahinch has won this title, they also defeated Borris-ileigh in the 2002 final. The U21’s are due to be in action this weekend in the North Football championship against Ballina. Auction: Thanks to everyone who supported the timber auction last Sunday. There was a big turnout and a lot of fuel was purchased for the winter months. Also thanks to everyone who gave their time to make the event a success. AGM: The juvenile AGM takes place on the 10th of December in Shallee GAA grounds @8pm, as many as possible are asked to attend.
