Boxing: A very entertaining night was had last Saturday in the Ormonde hotel, with the action in the ring keeping everyone enthralled. Thanks to all those who bought tickets, programme sellers, security on the night, ticket sellers and the organisers for their efforts to make the night a success. Special mention of course must go to all the boxers who put in huge work over the past few weeks in preparation for this event. The numbers drawn in the raffle were 0858, 0972, 1042, 1128 and 0074. Hurling: We defeated Galtee Rovers last Monday in Dolla on a score of 1-16 to 0-10 in the County intermediate league. Training continues for all players this week.
