Looking back 15 years:  A note on what was happening in our club 15 years ago around this time. In Ryan’s Bar, Killoscully on the15th January 2000 John A Ryan club chairman at the time made a presentation to the surviving members of the day from the Knockmeal Rangers hurling team of 1949. Those who received presentations on the night were Mick Hourigan, Phil Collins, Dinny Kennedy, Liam Lynch, Michael Ryan & Pat Darcy. 1949 was a very special year for Knockmeal Rangers as they won the North Tipp Junior hurling title for the first time defeating Cloughjordan in the final on a score of 2-3 to 2-2
