Intermediate: We play Shannon Rovers this Saturday in Portroe at 6.30pm in the North Intermediate hurling championship. The winner will play Newport in the North final. Best of luck to all involved and please support the team as they look to qualify for the final.

Minor: The minor hurlers of Newport Gaels currently top the group and are qualified for the knockout stages. The footballers long awaited North final is scheduled for the 24^th Aug against the winners of the Inane Rovers and Ballina.

Tipperary: Well done to Shane McGrath and all the Tipperary team on their win last Sunday against Cork. A big crowd from the club supported the team on the day and are all looking forward to the 7^th September.
