U12: Hard luck to the hurlers lost out in the North ‘C’ Final to a much stronger Lorrha team last Saturday in Portroe. A great effort was put in all by the players and they will develop further again next year. Thanks all involved with this team throughout the year.

Intermediate: The hurlers defended their County league title last Saturday in Nenagh. They defeated Roscrea 2-19 to 0-13. The match was close throughout the first half, but a two goal burst late in the half put Ballinahinch in control. From then on they maintained the lead to close out the game. Well done to all involved with the team. The next match for this team will be the North Final. Best wishes to John O’Grady who suffered an injury in the closing moments of the match.

Juvenile Blitz: The juvenile hurlers played a blitz last Saturday in Borrisokane. They showed all their skills in the matches against Moneygall, Shannon Rovers and Ballina and all players enjoyed the experience.

U16: Well done the hurlers who defeated Burgess 4-09 to 3-09 last Friday evening. They play Clonakenny/Moneygall next.

U14: Best of luck to the hurlers against Borrisokane in the North ‘B’ semi-final this Wednesday (17th Aug) in Shallee at 6.30pm. Please support the team.

Croke Park: A group from the juvenile club attended the All-Ireland semi-final last Sunday. A great day was had by all, made extra special by the Tipperary wins and the nine goals everyone got to cheer. Thanks to everyone involved in organising the trip.
