Minor: Hard luck to Newport Gaels footballers who lost the 'A' county semi-final last weekend. Clonmel Commercials proved too strong for us with the long break since the North final not helping either. Thanks to everyone involved with this team during 2013. All Star Mr & Mrs: Tickets are available throughout the parish for this unique fundraising event. Couples from the locality will be quizzed on the night to see how much they truly know about each other!! It takes place on Sunday 27th Oct in Freigh Inn, Newport. Doors open at 8.30pm. Tickets are priced at €10 and available from all committee members and all players. |
