Munster Final: Hard luck to Michael Fahy who was part of the Nenagh VS team that lost to Causeway CS 3-13 to 2-15, in the Munster VS 'A' hurling final on Saturday. Congratulations: To everyone who competed in the County Indoor Athletics finals in Nenagh on Saturday last. All our local athletes gave a great account of themselves, once again & there were some great personal performances. Extra special congratulations go to the following medallists : Brendan Quinn (Bronze in U-10 4x100m Relay). Brendan also ran a great 60m final. Sarah Hennessy won Silver in U-11 Long Jump & Bronze in 4x100m Relay. Sean Carolan won Gold in U-12 Shot Putt & Gold in 4x100m Relay. Also, congratulations to all our local artists who participated in the Community Games County Finals in Clonmel last weekend. An extra special word of congratulations must go to Mara VanHelest who won the Bronze medal in her U-10 Art. Juvenile: GAA Hurling & Football training will be starting up again very shortly. The managers of the teams will be in contact with parents soon to let you know. Meanwhile our U-12's will kick off their campaign within the next couple of weeks, when their football competition starts. Lotto: Congratulations to Mary Quigley who won last weeks (5th March) lotto jackpot of EUR1,650. Her lucky numbers were 3, 7, 11, 24. It is the second time in three weeks that the jackpot has been won. To be in with a chance for next week, tickets are available throughout the parish.
