Minor: Well done to Newport Gaels who were crowned North ‘A’ football champions last week. They defeated Kildangan 2-07 to 1-08. Congratulations to all involved and best of luck in the county series.

U16: In an excellent week for Newport Gaels, the U16 footballers defeated Moneygall/Clonakenny 1-09 to 1-07 to claim the ‘B’ North title. Again well done to all involved in this success.

U10: The U10 hurlers played three games in a hurling blitz last weekend in Templederry. Training continues every Wednesday evening at 6.30 for U6 upwards. All are welcome to come along.

Intermediate: The hurler’s had a good win last Sunday against Ballybacon. Two first half goals from Ross Healy put us in a commanding lead at half-time and the team kept the work rate up in the second half. The final score was 2-20 to 0-12. They play Moycarkey/Borris next on the 24^th May where another win is required.

Referee: Well to Philip Kelly who refereed the Munster Minor Hurling Championship play-off game between Limerick and Waterford last Wednesday.

Lotto: The lotto currently stands at €10,000. Tickets are available throughout the parish. Last week’s numbers were 5, 7, 19, 25. Thanks to everybody for their continued support.

Tipp draw: Thanks again to all who supported the Tipp Draw in 2014. The first Draw of 2015 will take place on Friday 22nd of May. Can all promoters please confirm with your members that they are staying in this years draw. Any one who hasn't paid up to date will not be included in this years draw.
