U-12 Camogie : Well done to the Newport/Ballinahinch U-12 team who beat Drum & Inch last weekend in the County semi-final. This was a great win & best of luck  to everyone in the County Final.

U-15 Camogie : Well done also to the Newport/Ballinahinch U-15 Camogie team who had a great win over Cashel, in the County final last weekend, scoring 3-11 against a strong Cashel side. Congratulations & well done to all the girls involved & to all the coaches & mentors.

Schools Athletics : Well done to all the boys & girls from Ballinahinch National school, who took part in the recent cross-country schools competition. You all gave a great account of yourselves. An extra word of congratulations goes to Shauna Curtin on her bronze medal achievement. This was a brilliant achievement, as there were over 150 athletes in each race. Well done Shauna, & of course, well done to everyone who took part & ran so well.

U-13 Hurling : Well done to Newport/Ballinahinch U-13 team who won the U-13 Plate competition recently, by narrowly beating an excellent Moneygal team in the final. Well done to everyone involved & in particular, well done to Shaun Belfry, Kieran Ryan, Nial Harrington, Daniel Moloney & Evan Hannon who were all part of this team.

Junior: Our Junior 'C' hurlers should be in action this weekend in the North semi-final. Check fixtures for details.

Tipp Draw: Congratulations to John A. Ryan who recently won a prize in the weekly Tipperary Members draw. Anyone who has not paid yet for this years Tipp Draw will not be included in next months draw, please pay your promoter or T.J. McLoughlin asap thank you.


Lotto: There was no winner of lotto jackpot for Sept 26th where the numbers drawn were 5, 7, 26, 29. Also the draw in Oct 3rd produced no winner, the numbers drawn were 9, 19, 22, 26. The next lotto jackpot is for EUR6,000, tickets are available for EUR2 throughout the parish.
