U12: Well done to our u12s who put in a hard working shift to beat Newport in round 1 of the hurling last Friday evening in the Long House Field in Cragg. The match was played by both sides with fierce intensity and it was the Bally boys who pulled away in the second half having being down a point at half time 1-4 to 1-3. Final score was 2-9 to 1-6 which was great scoring f...or all the players involved. Best wishes: To Edward Coughlan and his new wife Eithne who were married last weekend. Also well done to Des Kelly who played with Warwickshire in their win in the Lory Meagher Final at headquarters last Sunday. Hard luck to Shane and the rest of his Tipp team mates who came up against a better Limerick team on the day. Hopefully the back door route will allow us to get back on track.

Intermediate: We play Chair on this Saturday in round 3 of the County intermediate championship at 6pm in Tipp Town. It is part of a double bill with our neighbours Newport playing at 7.30. Perfect opportunity to travel and support both teams who will be meeting later in the championship in the final round. The players have put in a great effort and have made many personnel sacrifices to raise the standard so we hope as many supporters as possible travel to urge them on.

Boxing Presentation: A presentation to our boxers and a showing of the DVD of the night takes place this Saturday night in Ballinahinch at 9.30pm. Ideal opportunity to see a great nights entertainment if you missed the night back in March. It was a great fund raising event for the club which was needed to get our accounts back in shape.
