North Tipperary Juvenile PRO Notes

Munster U16: Well done to North Tipperary U16 hurlers who won their 10th Munster U16 hurling final when they defeated Mid Tipp in the final at Mallow last Monday. See match reports. Well done to the selectors, Liam Kelly, Liam Flannery and Len Gaynor and their backroom team. Special thanks to Eddie Hynes who was masseur with the team.
North Tipp's ten titles arrived in 1981, 1984, 1989, 1990, 1993, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2008 and 2011.

Feile: Hard luck to Kilruane MacDonaghs who were beaten in the county Feile na Gael semi final against Drom Inch last weekend.
Peadar Cummins: The Peadar Cummins Tournament, organised by the Borris-Ileigh Juvenile club will be held in Borrisoleigh on May 28th.
U16 A Football: The North U16 'A' football final between Ballina (Holders) v Nenagh Éire Óg will be played in Kilcolman this Tuesday evening. It is a repeat of last year's decider and it promises to be a good game.
U-14 A Football: Nenagh Éire Óg defeated Newport/Ballinahinch 4-7 to 2-8. Kilruane MacDonaghs gained a walk over from Borris-Ileigh.
The semi final pairings are Nenagh Éire Óg v Kildangan on May 4th; Kilruane MacDonagh v Newport/ Ballinahinch on May 5th. The final may be played the following week. No firm date yet.
U-14 'B' Football Group 1: Round 5 Results - Ballina 2-15 Newport/Ballinahinch 0-4; Borrisokane 3-9 Portroe 2-8; Moneygall W/O Inane Rovers Scr
As a result both Portroe and Ballina finished level on six points and they met in a play-off and Portroe emerged winners 2-8 to 1-2. Borrisokane and Portroe through to the semi-finals. Group 2: Round 5 - Burgess 4-14 Silvermines 3-5; Shannon Rovers Gaels 2-8 Lorrha 1-6; Toomevara 8-6 Templederry 1-6
Its down to the last four now as Borrisokane face Shannon Rovers Gaels
Portroe play Burgess. Both games set for this coming Wednesday, May 4.

Group 2: Semi finals May 7th in Templederry: 11.00am - Templederry v Borrisokane
11.00am - Portroe v Silvermines. Final at 12.15pm. Medal presentation to all four teams after the final
Group 3 semi finals-Shannon Rovers Gaels v Ballinahinch and Burgess v Lorrha. No firm date yet but it is hoped to play by end of the week, in a blitz formation. i.e. One venue for both semi finals and final.
