Club Notes 18th May 2015

Schools hurling: Well done to our schools hurling team who have won their first two matches of the group stage of the hurling championship. They beat Lissehall and Birdhill. This week they play Cloughjordan. Well done to Liam King who has made the panel of the primary game in Football. Liam with be playing for Tipperary on Sunday week in Semple stadium. it is a great honour for Liam to make the team. Best wishes to Karl Kelly who had made it through a number of hurling trials and is still part of the set up.

 

U14: Best of luck to Newport Gaels who play Clonakenny/Moneygall in the North ‘B’ football semi-final on Wed (20th May) in Newport. Please support these players as they look to qualify for the final.

 

Training: Juvenile training for U6’s to U12’s continues every Wednesday from 6.30 -7.30 in Shallee. All are welcome.

 

Intermediate: The hurlers are out in their final group game of the county league next Sunday in Templederry at 12pm. A win is required against Moycarkey/Borris to keep them in the hunt for a knock out place. All support is welcome.

 

Tipp draw: Thanks again to all who supported the Tipp Draw in 2014. The first Draw of 2015 will take place on Friday 22nd of May. Can all promoters please confirm with your members that they are staying in this years draw. Any one who hasn't paid up to date will not be included in this years draw. The club is looking for new promoters for the draw, anyone interested in becoming a member or a promoter please contact T J Mcloughlin on (086)3429789.

 

Community Games: Trials for the Games will take place in Shallee this Sunday (23rd) at 6pm.
