U16: Hard luck to Newport Gaels footballers who were defeated by Clonmel Commercials in the County U16 'A' final last weekend. See match report for more details. Thanks to everybody involved for their efforts throughout the year.

Intermediate: We lost out to Ballina last Saturday in the North hurling semi-final, finishing on the wrong side of high scoring encounter 4-19 to 4-16. See match report for details. Focus now switches to the County provisional Quarter final where we will play a divisional champion/representative. Training continues this Thursday (15th).

Minor: Newport Gaels take on Roscrea this Wednesday (14th) in Newport. With both teams requiring a win a good game is expected.
