U16 'A' Hurling: On Monday, Roscrea defeated Kilruane MacDonaghs in the first of a threeway play-off staged at Ballingarry. Final score Roscrea 5-15 Kilruane MacDonaghs 4-12. Roscrea will face Toomevara in semi-final. As a result of their defeat to Roscrea, the Kilruane MacDonagh side will now take on Newport/Ballinahinch in the second play-off next Monday evening; the winners play Nenagh Éire Óg the second semi-final. Provisional date for the final is September 17th U16 'B' Hurling: Templederry 1-17 Shannon Rovers Gaels 2-8; Borrisokane 4-13 Burgess 2-10 Last Monday night, Templederry travelled to Ballinderry and produced their best game so far in the championship to defeat Rovers Gaels by six points. The visitors led by 1-10 to 1-4 at half time. Templederry are now through to the semi-finals where they will join Silvermines, Shannon Rovers Gaels and Kildangan.
